FairyAiO™ ("we," "our," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit www.fairyaio.com or interact with our AI concierge, Lucy.

A. Information you give us directly
- Email address (when you join our waitlist or share it with Lucy for cross-device memory)
- Name, location, service preferences, and other information you voluntarily share
- Conversation content when you chat with Lucy
- Any messages you send us at lucy@fairyaio.com
B. Information collected automatically
- IP address (for rate-limiting and abuse prevention)
- Browser type, device type, and general location
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Standard web analytics data
C. Information Lucy stores
- Your conversations with Lucy are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) by default
- If you share your email with Lucy, your conversation history, location, interests, and preferences are stored on our secure servers (Supabase) linked to your email address
- This allows Lucy to provide personalized recommendations and remember context across visits
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve Lucy's responses and recommendations
- Send you waitlist updates and launch notifications (if you opt in)
- Personalize service suggestions based on your preferences
- Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve our website and services
We do NOT:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Use your data for targeted advertising on other platforms
- Share Lucy conversations with third parties for marketing
- Train AI models on your private conversations
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Lucy and our website use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — powers Lucy's conversational intelligence and web search
- ElevenLabs — generates Lucy's voice
- Supabase — stores email-linked conversation history securely
- Squarespace — hosts our website
- Web Search (via Anthropic) — when Lucy looks up real-time information
These services have their own privacy policies. We use only services with strong security and privacy practices.
4. AI AND AUTOMATED PROCESSING
Lucy is an artificial intelligence assistant powered by large language models. Lucy:
- May provide inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information
- Should not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice
- May reference external web sources whose accuracy we do not guarantee
- Uses synthetic voice technology — the voice you hear is not a real person

5. YOUR DATA RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Deletion: Request that we delete your data
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

6. DELETING YOUR DATA
To delete your data:
- Lucy conversations stored locally: clear your browser's local storage (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data)
- Email-linked conversations on our servers: email lucy@fairyaio.com with "DELETE MY DATA" in the subject line. We will delete your records within 30 days
- Waitlist signup: email lucy@fairyaio.com to be removed
7. DATA SECURITY
We use industry-standard security practices including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure data storage via Supabase with row-level security
- Limited employee access to user data
- Regular security reviews
However, no online service is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
FairyAiO is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at lucy@fairyaio.com and we will delete it.
9. INTERNATIONAL USERS
FairyAiO is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via email to waitlist members.

1. PRE-LAUNCH SERVICE
FairyAiO is currently in pre-launch. By joining our waitlist or interacting with Lucy:
- No service contract is formed between you and FairyAiO
- We are not currently providing live booking, payment, or service delivery
- Promotional offers (such as $20 launch credits, Founding Fairy Friend perks) are conditional on our actual launch and subject to terms that will be detailed at that time
- Launch dates, features, pricing, and service availability may change
- We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any pre-launch offers
2. AI CONCIERGE (LUCY)
Lucy is an artificial intelligence assistant. Lucy:
- Is powered by large language models (Anthropic Claude) and synthetic voice (ElevenLabs)
- May provide information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated
- May reference external web content whose accuracy we do not guarantee
- Is NOT a licensed professional and does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, real estate, or other professional advice
- Should not be relied upon for emergency situations — call 911 or your local emergency services
For specialized concerns, please consult a licensed professional. The voice you hear from Lucy is AI-generated and not a recording of a real person.
3. NO PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
Nothing on this website or in conversations with Lucy constitutes medical advice, legal advice, financial or investment advice, tax advice, real estate advice, mental health counseling, or any other professional service. Always consult a qualified professional for specialized advice.
4. MARKETPLACE FACILITATOR STATUS (FUTURE LAUNCH)
When FairyAiO launches:
- FairyAiO will operate as a marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers ("Fairies")
- FairyAiO will NOT directly provide services
- Service providers will be independent contractors, not employees of FairyAiO
- FairyAiO is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of services provided by independent Fairies
- All transactions between customers and Fairies will be subject to additional Terms of Service at launch
5. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LINKS
Lucy may reference or link to third-party websites, services, or content. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the accuracy of third-party content, the privacy practices of third-party websites, or products and services offered by third parties.
Trusted Partners displayed on our website (Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, Checkr, FlutterFlow, Google Maps, Twilio, AWS, and others) are technology providers we use to build our platform. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement of FairyAiO by those companies.
6. NO GUARANTEED OUTCOMES
Information from FairyAiO and Lucy is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee specific results from using our service, availability of services in your area at launch, that promotional offers will remain available, or that Lucy's recommendations will meet your specific needs.
7. RATE LIMITS AND FAIR USE
To ensure fair access for all visitors, Lucy is rate-limited to a reasonable number of messages per hour. If you hit the limit, please try again later. We reserve the right to block users who abuse our services.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The FairyAiO name, logo, "Fairy" service provider terminology, and all related branding are trademarks of FairyAiO. The website content, design, and all original materials are the property of FairyAiO and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or commercially use our content without written permission.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FairyAiO and its founders, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, damages arising from your use of Lucy, our website, or our services, damages from reliance on information provided by Lucy or our website, or damages from third-party services or content referenced by us.
10. AGE REQUIREMENT
You must be at least 18 years old to use FairyAiO. By using our website or Lucy, you confirm you are 18 or older.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Disclaimers are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.

DMCA COPYRIGHT POLICY

FairyAiO respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This policy explains how we handle copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").

2. COUNTER-NOTIFICATION
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to lucy@fairyaio.com containing:
A. Your physical or electronic signature
B. Identification of the material that was removed and its original location
C. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
D. Your contact information
E. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court and accepting service of process from the original complainant
3. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A NOTICE
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, notify the user who posted the material, and forward the original notice and any counter-notification to relevant parties.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a lawsuit.
4. REPEAT INFRINGER POLICY
We will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
5. MISREPRESENTATIONS
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. Please consider carefully before submitting a notice or counter-notification.

- Lucy localStorage — stores your conversation history with our AI concierge on your device for memory continuity
- Session cookies — manage your visit (such as remembering banner dismissals)

- Squarespace Analytics — page views, traffic sources, general browser/device info
- No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are currently used
C. Functional Cookies
- Waitlist banner dismissal preference
- Lucy chat panel state
We do NOT currently use advertising cookies, marketing/retargeting cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cookies for selling data to third parties.
If we add advertising or tracking cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent where required.
3. MANAGING COOKIES
You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can also clear all cookies and localStorage for our site, block all cookies, or use Incognito/Private browsing mode.
To clear Lucy's memory specifically, open our website, then your browser's Developer Tools console, and run:

4. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry standard for how to respond to these signals, we currently do not change our behavior based on them. However, we minimize tracking by default.
